Jane M. Christie Joins the Mpower1 Group of Companies

07 March 2006 – London, UK and Portland, Oregon, USA – Mpower1, an international operation specializing in business creation, turnaround, growth and development for software companies, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Jane M. Christie to Sales Consultant in their USA operations. 

Ms. Christie will be responsible for establishing new business opportunities for Mpower1 and its subsidiaries, jBASE International and BlueFinity International.  jBASE is a leading provider of database management products and software development tools;   BlueFinity supplies leading-edge .NET oriented software development tools and consultancy services to the MultiValue database and Microsoft developer communities. 

Ms. Christie brings decades of business management experience and a track record of exceeding revenue expectations to the group.  As Director of Operations for First Data Resources Southern California Services Business in the mid-eighties, she was responsible for major account sales and was a key member of the acquisition teams that facilitated strong growth for the company.  

Ms. Christie then began her notable career in the MultiValue market when she joined General Automation in the late 1980s, first as Vice President of Customer Services, then Vice President of Sales and Services, and lastly CEO of GA and the re-invented company in 1998, GA eXpress.  She launched GA’s services organization, doubled its revenues annually and spent 15 years in executive positions with GA eXpress, including spearheading several key acquisitions. 

In 1997, International Spectrum Magazine recognized Ms. Christie’s leadership and her company’s dominance in database development by naming her “Person of the Year”.  

Ms. Christie most recently held the position of Director of Sales and Support for FusionWare Corporation.
